At Salcombe Church of England Primary School, we follow the Jigsaw PSHE scheme, a comprehensive and engaging approach to Personal, Social, Health, and Economic (PSHE) education.

Jigsaw is designed as a whole-school programme, ensuring that all year groups explore the same themes at the same time through six half-termly units, known as Puzzles. These cover key areas such as Being Me in My World, Celebrating Difference, Dreams and Goals, Healthy Me, Relationships, and Changing Me.

With a strong emphasis on emotional literacy, resilience, and mental well-being, Jigsaw equips children with the knowledge and skills to navigate the world confidently. It also integrates mindfulness, helping pupils develop self-awareness and emotional regulation.

Through Jigsaw, we aim to foster a positive school ethos, encouraging children to become respectful, responsible, and thoughtful individuals who contribute meaningfully to their communities.
