PTFA Fundraiser 2008
Salcombe Church of England Primary School P.T.F.A. are a very enthusiastic and pro-active team of parents, members of the local community and staff who are dedicated to raising addition funding for our school to enable all children to access the resources they need to further their education. We have in the past year alone raised in the region of £35,000 towards the Capital Campaign which is aiming to raise £45,000 in total.
This amazing total was partly raised by the staging of various social events that are supported by the student body, parents, local residents and businesses. Many people have enjoyed evenings at the school for a Tropical Barbeque, two "School Dinners" catered by The Galley and Bob and Duchie (ex Terrapins), a Murder Mystery Picnic and several very generously supported Auctions.
We are already planning a fresh fundraising event which includes a Barbeque with musical entertainment - watch this space to see our confirmed line-up.
